Ah, there's nothing like morning at camp.
A deer skull provides the ultimate treat.
Coco roams free on the grassland. (He won't go far without Boss.)
Boss likes to wander, so we secure him with a tether.
We sometimes tie him to a log, but none were available, so Steve had the brilliant idea to use his Handyman Jack! (Here it is standing up, but we laid it down after the photo so it wouldn't fall on anyone.) The Handyman is heavy.
Boss can haul it a few inches at a time, but he won't be taking any freedom runs dragging that piece of steel.
Our journey's with you are so appreciated, relaxing & wonderful, Janie.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful week.

ReplyDeleteDaisy!! I would have yelled.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy hearing about your horses and your adventures.... So Boss will 'roam' and Coco won't... Different personalities, huh???? Interesting.

Betsy
Steve came up with a neat way to keep Boss from wandering too far. I'm sure you have no desire to chase him down again. Daisy certainly looks content.
ReplyDeleteSo resourceful.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Daisy is having an intimate conversation with that skull! We're under a winter storm warning here in the mountains. I hope you don't get any white stuff!
ReplyDeleteBoss keeps you on your creative toes??? The morning looks great from what I see here!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun time, deer skull and all!
