You may have thought I was going to tell you about a thing called "Love", as the song goes. But I'm not taking this any farther. I've created the atmosphere. You're on your own from here!
Now I've got a great song playing in my head. These are wonderful!! How lucky you are to have captured a mountain blue bird. :))
ReplyDeletewhat a great post :)
ReplyDeleteThe honey bee on the apple blossom shot is the winner of this lot. Ok, I'll finish out the last bit of the song line with my post for tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHi Janie---Wow---getting to see the birds and the bees ---AND the moon all in the same post is awesome... THANKS!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
love it...now the toon is in my head...
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous close-up photos, Janie! Did you get a new Macro/zoom lens? Why is it that the males of the species get the most vibrant colors?
ReplyDeleteSuper post, love the flowers and the bugs. I am catching up on blogs, will definitely be back.
ReplyDeleteExcellent Janie! I saw my first Lazuli Buntings this spring in Yarnell.
ReplyDeleteWonderful post and photos, Janie. I have that song in my head now! You are very sharp to capture both the male and females of those two birds, and the bee photo is stunning. Of course, the moon rising above the prairie is just spectacular. Thanks for sharing. Blessings from Jo
ReplyDeleteOh, this is so awesome!!! Why are the MR's always so much prettier than the Mrs??? :)
ReplyDeleteI am partial to the bees you know....
That's an all-time favorite song of mine...I don't mind if it runs through my head all day!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are spectacular, Janie. So crisp and clear and the colors are perfect.
Great pictures of the honeybees!
ReplyDeleteHa, ha.. I love that song, the colorful birds and bees. Gorgeous macro shots, Janie.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Pam
All of your pictures are wonderful -- the macros of the bees are amazing in their detail. But I am very much impressed with Mr. Lazuli Bunting. He's a very colorful character.
ReplyDeleteFun post, Janie. :)
ReplyDeleteThe male Lazuli bunting is very handsome!
Yep, you put the air in the tires and its up to us to get on the bike and ride it as far as we want.
ReplyDeleteAll your landscape photos are breathtaking but when I see these colorful flowers and little critters I feel more like home and safe.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little birds too.
Those are all such great shots!
ReplyDeleteHi there! Great blog. I'm writing to ask permission to use one of our beautiful photos in a small business website. In particular, I'd love to use the one of the honey bee on the apple blossom.
