Exploring paths less traveled
Goat Ridge seems like a very appropriate name. You got some pretty good pictures of the goat. It looks as if you had a great day for a ride. I really like your picture of Moon Lake, and the meadow is gorgeous.
What beautiful country. The 10X zoom really worked for you. I can imagine how small the goat must have appeared otherwise. I'd be happy with that.
Oh My Heart.... Loved the lake picture---but then when you came to the meadow, I was swooning!!!! Gorgeous!!!!Goat Ridge is a perfect name.. Did you ever see more of them up there????Looks like a great ride.Hugs,Betsy
What a find. Both the mountain goat and the meadow.
That lake looks so refreshing and what a view looking up at Goat Ridge! Daisy looks like she's attempting a Pointer impersonation in the creek. =D Your panorama shot at the end is beautiful.
What a beautiful place. I can see the moon rising between those two peaks beyond moon lake.....
wow, that's fabulous! I see Daisy is having a great time again, what a wonderful part of the world she lives in.
Not bad pics of the goat, that's cool you got to watch it for awhile. A gorgeous area you rode in too, as usual!
I could almost hear the sound of music high above Moon Lake and Goat Ridge.Happy trails, JaniePam
The lake is gorgeous, the shady walk is gorgeous and even the goat is gorgeous. ;)And Daisy; well she is my fave!!!!
What a great sighting along a walk in such beautiful country. And as usual, Daisy finds a place to cool off.
You visit the most beautiful places!

It must have been amazing to see that mountain goat. The reflection in the lake is sooo pretty.
Great photos of your ride, including the mountain goat! I like the way the eye is drawn by your vistas (especially admire the first).

I love goats....great photos...
I've still never seen a mountain goat. Great photo!
