Exploring paths less traveled
Beautiful wildflowers and astonishing to see an eagle nest on the ground. No big trees around I take it. :)
You got a great picture of the eaglet. The wildflowers are beautiful. I'm impressed with Daisy's ability to find ways to keep cool.
Great picture of the baby Eagle, Janie... I followed the nesting eagles in Iowa this year on the webcam ---and miss them now that they have fledged.Beautiful wild flowers also... Wow... Looks like all of you had a good time.Hugs,Betsy
beautiful photos Janie...
Another wonderful post. I like to try and imagine being there while I read them and look at the pictures.
I just love wildflowers and the pictures in your post and header are beautiful. That is a HUGE nest. What a great discovery!
Beautiful sky and flowers but that eaglet, oh what a wonderful sighting!
Such a fabulous sighting of the eaglet and the wildflowers are marvelous. Seeing many here as well. Our storms have been rather iffy and nary a drop today. No matter where you ride, it is spectacular.
I never tire of looking over your shoulder, Janie.. I love the beautiful views, and your extra-special animal pals :)hugs,Pam
What a find. Great photo.
Really terrific photos Janie. It's amazing what you see. I'm finally back from our summer vacation. Always good to get home wherever that might be.
I love the flowers...and that nest is JUST amazing!!!!
awesome picture of the eagle nest. We had flash flooding here yesterday. It looked like it was headed your way.
What more could you ask for: lovely wildflowers, grass for the horses, cool dirt for Daisy, and an EAGLET!!! WOW!
How exciting to see the eaglet! Love the flowers, too.
An eagle nest is such a great find! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, an eagle's nest. It's huge! The wildflowers are beautiful. Daisy looks like she wishes there was a pond she could jump into. lol
I guess the eaglet is not too afraid or it would hide down in the nest. I guess it's more interested in what tasty treat mom or pop might be bringing to the nest.
