Our Guide

Daisy likes nothing more than being out in the mountains, chasing the scent of ... something.  Anything.
Her nose twitches as she checks out all the odors in the air.
Then she puts her nose to the ground, and she's in doggie heaven.  Often she's following our own trail, leading us back home.  Seeing Daisy at work, I'm not surprised that labrador retrievers are often trained as search and rescue dogs.  Her nose knows!

Oh- and I'm posting from lovely, downtown Bicknell! We saw some beautiful country today and I was so pleased that my kids could recognize the beauty. Whew! I guess we're doing something right if they can enjoy nature.

  6. I hope you don't take Daisy where wolves have been established. Several dogs have been taken while hiking in the Island Park area.

  16. Daisy looks like she is having a grand time. I'm afraid our boy would only lead us to the nearest source of livestock or a wild herd of whatever.
