Hey! I'm your newest follower...looking frwd to your adventures. I live near the ocean so seeing the mountains is such a treat.
Another beautiful ride. Who rode Coco? Glad they get along. Bet Mischief was sad to be left behind.
I wouldn't want to have an encounter with a Bristlecone Pine.... 4000 years, huh???? Wow---those trees could tell us all a little about life, couldn't they????? haDid you ride on Coco or Boss???? I'm sure that Boss has been crying recently ---being left home alone!!! haHave a wonderful trip. Can't wait to see pictures.Hugs,Betsy
Hi Janie, I love the photo of the pine cones. Are your Bristlecones there getting a fungus? Ours here are and many are dying - it is some kind of rust canker. Have a good adventure!
I'm glad to hear that Boss is back. You definitely had a beautiful ride -- your photos are wonderful.Have a safe and enjoyable trip. Bring back lots of pictures.
Bristlecone pines are amazing in their longevity and rugged beauty. I think I've read that the oldest living tree in the world is a bristlecone pine.Fantastic mountain view in your third photo!
The Bristlecone pines can live more than 4000 years?! That's amazing! Canyon is my hubby's dream destination so I ask him to look at the pic here 1st :-)

Did I ever mention that's darn pretty country? I thought so! I never get tired of looking at it though. Some of those photos I just want to reach my face into and breath deeply. (You can't do that with the internet ... yet!)
I've missed coming along on your rides these past few weeks.
Oh I forgot how much I love it here. I think my blood pressure drops every time I visit your blog! ♥♥
