Joy to the New Year

Happy 2010 to everyone!
We spent the holidays in Salt Lake City, celebrating the joys of
family Christmas carols,
grandbaby's first gifts,
grandbaby-holding,

card and word game tournaments,
and ski tours.
Now we've returned from that bustling world to our quiet (maybe too quiet?) home in Utah's Uinta Basin.  We're just chilling today, literally and figuratively! (High of 15 F, low about negative 5.)

  16. To my mind there is no such thing as too quite. It's nice to spend time with family and a new grandbaby's first Christmas is not to be missed but it is always nice to come home.
The horses don't look too upset by the weather.

Would love to be on that cross-country ski tour. Boss and Mischief don't seem to be minding the snow at all.

  33. Hi Janie,
Looks like you have lots to celebrate in 2010 - what a CUTE Grandbaby! Is that City Creek area where you went ski touring? My husband and I thought that would be a great place to xski when we were there hiking it in Nov.
