  16. Linda, the snow was fresh in these photos, so the sound was more like "swish, swish."
    It was cold, probably about 10F, but skiing keeps us warm.

How wonderful to be living in such vast wide open spaces with monutains to see in the distance, or not so distant... that is the only thing I really miss around the Paris area... no mountains... and no sea coast. Ideal would be to have both real close... someplace like the Olympic National Park area might work, but it rains alot out there... maybe an island rising up out of the ocean to snow-covered heights... hmmmm, will have to give that some thought...
