We ride 9 months out of the year. December, January, and most of February are too cold or have too much snow. There is a public indoor arena nearby, though. Maybe I can talk Steve into going there for a workout...
I was wondering if you ride in winter. It is so very cold here now - below zero the past few days and barely warming to single digits. I stayed indoors yesterday but must don some layers and go outside today for some exercise. Love that last pic. Steve needs to pack a bit of extra food so he can share!
Hello, I just came across your blog and I love it. Your photos are beautiful. Looking forward to your future postings. Greetings from snowy and cold Indiana...Heidi
I'm ready for warmer weather too! Big time! And looks like I'll get to do a little riding this spring/summer too -yay! That first picture is too too cute!!
Hi Janie, I know you are anxious for spring --and being able to get out there and ride again... It will happen --but all of us have to get through winter first.... Oh Well!!!!!
Cute pictures of Daisy and her 'friends'. Hugs, Betsy
Daisy is such a lovely dog! She and Sheba should meet! :-D They'd love to hit the trails together and would jump into any piece of water they stumbled upon! Only difference is Sheba's slight intolerance to cold temperatures... :-D But then again, there are always dog clothes!
Hi Janie, I missed you and your trail rides. I hope you and Steve had a wonderful holiday with family and friends. Reruns are great for those who missed the first one and even then we all forget or at least I sure do! Daisy was cute as a puppy and is a real beauty now.
Daisy is such a sweet girl...love seeing the photos...
ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures of Daisy!
ReplyDeleteHow many months out of a year can you go riding regularly?

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet pup. I'm trying to remember though exactly where you said those trout were biting? :)
ReplyDeleteDaisy is such a friendly girl. Nice to see pics of here growing up.
ReplyDeleteI can believe your dreaming of riding under the sunshine. I want to be at the warm summer canyon. It will come.
What a delightful puppy she was and she's grown into such a lovely, fit dog. I bet she can't wait to get out into the wide open spaces again, either.

ReplyDeleteDaisy's come a long way. She's always lead by example it would seem. :^)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the pictures of young Daisy making friends. I don't blame you for wishing for riding season -- I want to see the snow disappear as well.
ReplyDeleteCute Daisy is a great companion and a friend. She is everywhere!
