I agree with George. Steve just can't resist those begging faces, after all they do for him and you too. Sometimes our blessing come all wrapped in fur...
That is so funny. We have the same issue when we eat a banana around here..both dogs wake up from the dead just at the sound of you breaking one from the bunch. But mischief...he is a bit bigger. I would have to share with him!!
I can't cook a thing in the kitchen without two sets of dogs eyes that look just like that! Brogan can just lick the counter if he wants to. Very funny and accurate post!
Well, looks as though Steve will need 2 sandwiches next time - one for himself plus one for Mischief and Daisy to share. What about Boss - doesn't he like PBJ?
Mischief got a bite, and he even got to lick the wrapper. Poor Daisy tried, but Mischief nosed her away. Too much competition. Next time, we'll definitely bring an extra sandwich. Boss doesn't like peanut butter. We give him apples or horse treats so he won't feel too left out.
Cute photo ;-) I'm not sure what Molly would DO with a BP&J sandwich because her diet is limited to IVD Duck and Sweet Potato kibble and canned food due to severe allergies. Hugs and blessings,
How can anyone not like a good ole PBJ sandwhich. Or resist those "vulture" stares. This is too cute. You really do need to bring extras. After all, I'm thinking Mischief probably carries them. We had a horse that would only load when bribed with beer and potatoe chips.
Oh these photos are BRILLIANT Janie! First time I every heard of the "vulture position" I will think of it everytime my pets come beggin' and pleadin'for tidbits. Wonderful post.
what exquisite horses they are. and your hubby looks so good here too. thanx for often visiting me and leaving a comment. i appreciate it, but have become very lazy about it.
Vulture posture - THAT'S the proper expression! Just like D'Ora! She nearly hops on my lap when she wants some crumbs of our food. Cute pictures, Janie!
Janie, 10° F is really cold, -12° C!! Here in Vienna we had warm 14°C (56° F) today, and the lowest temperatures we had so far below were 0° C (32° F). The river Danube makes a mild climate. But in Austria's mountain regions, it's much colder! Cheers, Maria
Oh, I love the "vulture" position! And I remember how my horses lips use to quiver when they were in hopes of a treat! Needless to say, Sam and Mojo are extremely talented beggars!! Fun, terrific shots as always, Janie!
Janie..great photo. I read some of your other posts and was surprised to learn that you and your husband are retired. You look like a kid! What a following you have...all these comments! Thanks for visiting.
Love that "Vulture posture"... our cat knows that one too. And what a lovely grove of Aspen(?) or Birch(?) trees there... one can hear the wind in them...
Are orange vests needed because there are hunters around ?

Did Steve even get a bite? I don't see how anyone could ignore those pleading faces. Great pictures!
So who got to eat it? Fun picture.
Made me laugh. Our critters are much smaller than your critters but they still get in the vulture position.
I too, am a life long fan of a good PB&J!

poor Steve :( What did he have for lunch?
Abd there was me thinking that horses only eat hay. And apples. And polo mints. And carrots. Ok, I guess I shouldn't be surprised they like the pb+j.
Sweet!

My kitty likes to sniff but she won't take anything - thankfully. :)
That is just adorable. I'm thinking if someone as big as Mischief wants a bite, he gets a bite!
Beautiful horse, I have been told the combination of Peanut butter and Jam ( or Jelly as it is known ) is a great combination, Thanks for sharing:)
Hi,Janie!

Our four legged friends can be worse than our kids some times. These are such candid photos Janie, thank you for sharing them with us.

Very cute! They look like they *really* want that sandwich. :)
Sharing takes patience: The key here is that both are well trained.
lol!
great capture!!
Love these photos! Both animals are caught in the act but really don't care! There is just the sandwich!
Very sweet photo and what a lovely spot to stop and have a bite - or hope for one!
Enchanting shots! All animals seem to love peanut butter!

I like peanut butter too but never had jelly so don't know about that. Awful nice of you to share your sandwich with your critters there.
Woof! Woof!

You're photo made me laugh. Reminds me of my dog.
