Exploring paths less traveled
The hiding rule usually is if you can see them, they can usually see you, especially out in the open. (Didn't that buck read the manual!)
You got a great picture of the buck, Janie... I saw one (not as big as yours) in the back of our house last week a couple of times ---but didn't have my camera handy either time... Darn!!!!!Deer really can run --when they have to, can't they????Hugs,Betsy
Haha, you can't see me! That was cute. I am always amazed when deer jump the fence the way they do. I wish I could do that.
Stags definitely look better in the wild. As a child I was always horrified and slightly disturbed by the mounted stag skull, complete with fake horns, that accessorized our hallway.
Awww, I love that first shot - That big thing thinking he's hiding, very cute! :-)
Great pictures. I've seen it a thousand times but it amazes me how effortlessly deer can jump a fence.
loving the action shot
Not a lot of deer in my 'hood :)I played too :)
It's really surprising to me to see how well deer can jump! I've never seen it before! Great pictures, Janie!
Hide and seek is always fun and you caught them in the act of trying to get away. Great shots, Janie.
Lovely photos, Janie. The does look as if they are flying through the air. Loved the Hide and Seek title!
What a handsome buck! Maybe his idea of hiding and ours are different. And the doe jumps with such grace. The human made obstacles are probably their biggest challenge.
Great photo captures Janie!!!I love seeing deer in the wild...it is so uncommon for me.
I love to see deer in the wild...soo pretty. I would not be good to take on a hunting trip... "RUN BAMBI RUN" lolHave a GREAT DAY!
Did the two young deer manage to clear the fence? It looks as if it would be quite a leap for them. You got a great picture of the buck. I'm glad he thought he was hidden.
