What an incredibly beautiful stretch of land there ! I'm drooling ! I remember the first time I saw an elk in the wild in a high valley in the Wind River Mountains in Wyoming... they're huge when seen from not far away... sure would love to come see this place, head out hiking for a few days, weeks... months... years... yes sirreee, those are some real wide open spaces...
That Daisy is game for anything. Glad to see she's wearing her hunter's orange. And Janie, that is some great view. Love the picture of the two of girls.
What a great view, Janie! D'Ora chased a rabbit once (she's only half as tall as your Daisy), but she got really crazy about the rabbit, and I could catch her only after half an hour when she got tired at last - of course, the bunny was too fast for my doggy. Happy weekend and hugs from Austria, Maria.
Daisy looks as if she's spotted that elk. If you weren't holding her she would probably be off in a flash. That's gorgeous scenery (both land and sky) behind you.

ReplyDeleteCute Janie.... I think Mama said NO to Daisy..."Honey, you can't chase the elk." Daisy said: "Why not??? --whine-whine." (Just like a child)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear your dog calls you Mom too!
ReplyDeleteDaisy is looking pretty birdy, maybe a blue grouse down there?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the view of the lake in your other post. Our air's been pretty hazy from various local fires.
