Autumn is definitely on its way. Our trees look about the same as the leaves in your pictures, but cooler weather has arrived and we may soon get more color.
Beautiful Janie... I can see the difference from one week to the next. You have alot of yellows out there, don't you????
We don't have much color yet--but we're hoping for some cooler temps this week which should help. So far this Fall, we've had too much rain and warm temps.
Now THAT is the way to enjoy the fall foliage. I love the sight of Aspen trees in the fall with their whispering yellow leaves contrasting with the black and white trunks.
Did you know the second largest known living organism in the world is a stand of Aspen (they spread by cloning) somewhere in Southern Utah?
Beautiful photos of autumn's arrival...your comment on my blog about the metaphor of life experiences really struck me....what a wonderful analogy and so true...
What a lovely ride. Must be something to have so much all to yourselves...seems like no one else uses these trails.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the riding while you can, rumor has it the weather is turning on Wednesday to cold and SNOW! I'm so not ready......
ReplyDeleteSo nice to watch the Aspen slowly changing.

ReplyDeleteA beautiful ride for you. If only the winds would let them stay on the trees a little longer to color our world. Raking is so much fun!!!!
