The snow's mostly melted in the pasture, and with a sunny sky, a light wind, and temperatures in the 30's, the horses are feeling their oats. Here they are, enjoying their first good run since snow covered the ground in early December.
Daisy had some fun, too, running with her horse friends.
Janie, Looks like your horsies are as excited about the possibility of spring coming as I am!!!! BUT--I am not that frisky!!! ha ha
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures.

They are so beautiful! I LOVE the bright blue skies! I think that is my favorite thing about winter. The deep blue sky! I don't like the snow, the ice, or the cold though....
ReplyDeleteloved the 2nd last pic! superb!
ReplyDeleteLove the horses. I remember those frosty/sunny days. I loved riding when my horse was feeling her oats. It was like her feet never touched the ground. Fun fun fun!
ReplyDeleteHer paddock wasn't very big so occasionally I would just let her run around the woods. I would shake a bucket of oats and she would come running back huffing and puffing and happy as a clam.
Oh, how beautiful!!! They certainly look like they're having the time of their lives, and Daisy too!!! And I bet you and Steve can't wait to get out as well!
