Fracas at the Feeder

Some birds don't like to share.  Mr. House Finch has a little disagreement with the blue bird (female lazuli bunting, I think), while Mrs. House Finch looks on.
But perhaps there is enough for everyone after all.
Mr. Lazuli Bunting waits until everyone else leaves.  He wants all of the seed to himself.

  1. That Lazuli Bunting at the end is truly glorious. Hope I get to see one in person one day. Love how you've captured the personalities of these birds!

  5. Gosh, that Lazuli Bunting is beautiful! That's one I've not seen before. You certainly captured a great action shot in the first photo. Lazuli Bunting is definitely giving House Finch a piece of his mind. =D

  9. I've noticed the same thing that some birds have to have the entire feeder to themselves. Gee, they DO act a lot like some people don;t they? :)
