Some birds don't like to share. Mr. House Finch has a little disagreement with the blue bird (female lazuli bunting, I think), while Mrs. House Finch looks on.
Mr. Lazuli Bunting waits until everyone else leaves. He wants all of the seed to himself.
That Lazuli Bunting at the end is truly glorious. Hope I get to see one in person one day. Love how you've captured the personalities of these birds!
ReplyDeletewhat a fun moment for you to capture and share.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty blue in that bird. Wish we had more colorful birds to watch. What a fun past time.
ReplyDeleteHi Janie, Your birds (like mine) need to realize that there is always enough for ALL. Love that Bunting. What gorgeous colors.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Gosh, that Lazuli Bunting is beautiful! That's one I've not seen before. You certainly captured a great action shot in the first photo. Lazuli Bunting is definitely giving House Finch a piece of his mind. =D

ReplyDeleteI run into that at my feeders also...the solid doves run off the white tipped doves...your birds are beautiful...
ReplyDeleteWow, I never think of the birds as being selfish. Well, maybe the hummers.
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos! Love them. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI've noticed the same thing that some birds have to have the entire feeder to themselves. Gee, they DO act a lot like some people don;t they? :)
ReplyDeleteThe Lazuli Bunting is beautiful!
Things are usually peaceful at our feeder but once in a while a little disagreement erupts.
ReplyDeleteThe blue bird is so beautiful..!!!

ReplyDeleteLooks like a little territorial sparring at your feeder, Janie. Great bird photos.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I really enjoy watching birds. Right now we are watching cardinals and goldfinces building their nest behind the house. So interesting!
