In answer to several questions, yes, Daisy has caught a few bunnies. She's a good hunter and would probably survive on her own in the wild pretty well.
Daisy has such a beautiful, intelligent face. I think she has the best "dog life" ever, that is why she looks so content. I am also a believer in "Man's Best Friend" a dog is for life in the family not just for a whim because he or she was a cute puppy at one stage. I always feel very sorry for the poor dog who is shifted around, due to bad behaviour which has in the first place been instigated that he never had a stable, loving home.
How fun ;-) I just had Molly out a while ago (during a break in our wet rainy weather) and she had her nose to the ground ... checking out who'd been passing by. Methinks Molly would LOVE to visit Daisy's world! Hugs and blessings, Small Reflections
so cute! & these shots are so idyllic. You live in the most beautiful place!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet Daisy enjoys each and every one of those chases on the bunny trail even if the bunny does get away.
ReplyDeleteThat Daisy is a hunter, isn't she???? That nose can take her lots of places.. Has she ever actually found a wabbit????
ReplyDeleteCute pictures...

I'm surprised that Daisy wouldn't catch a rabbit or two if she really wanted to. These are great shots of her having fun in the snow.
ReplyDeleteLove that Daisy! Love to see her playing in the snow for whatever reason! Great shots, as always!
ReplyDeleteAll of you -- have a great weekend!
Sylvia, Sam and Mojo!
Ah, that is just so beautiful! Both Daisy's enthusiasm and the gorgeous snow-covered landscape!
ReplyDeleteToo adorable! And what lovely sunny weather you're having.
ReplyDeleteThe joy is in the anticipation. Daisy's a Labrador so she'd never kill a bunny . . . would she?? ;-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed seeing Daisy on a hunt. That was neat idea for your post.
ReplyDeleteDaisy is adorable, just love seeing her going about her day.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of Daisy exploring. I like the last one with the snow on her whiskers. =D
