Rested and Ready

Daisy may look like a prim and proper lady, but ...
She's always ready for play.
She can run all day with the horses,
outhike any human I know,
and still be able and willing to lead the way home, following the scent trail with more accuracy than a GPS trackback.
But when the day is done and it's too dark to play, she doesn't mind taking some time to recharge her batteries.

  13. Daisy is such a great dog and so much reminds me of Carson. He'd fetch until I got tired and could always find the trail home. Labs are great. Give her a Big scratch behind the ears for me.

My dog Abby would love to be able to run free like that but we live in the city so that's not possible. Your dog is amazing to be able to run with the horses all day and do all that hiking. That's a neat picture of her playing in the water too!

  19. Daisy splashing around and galloping alongside the horses looks to be having so much fun! Love the backdrop of the wild mountain outdoors ... What a lucky dog.

  23. We know why they are called man's best friend, don't we.
My friend and her 2 little girls hike with me often. They bring their dog who looks very much like your Daisy. She is always a joy to bring hiking and always adds a little fun. Jumps in any body of water...clean of filthy!! But sometimes she scares the heck out of me, the way she runs on the cliffs and slopes. I think at any moment she will go over the edge. But she is sure footed.
    Happy Trails
