Exploring paths less traveled
Poor Daisy! She so wanted to play with the trout. But at least she had a good excuse to get into the water. Steve and Daisy were in a beautiful area.
Beautiful place, beautiful photographs, magic land:) Greetings
Oh my. How I wish I'd been there flyrod in hand. I'll be Baron would have like to follow Daisy's lead as well....:)
that was a lovely fish. They do grow them big in the Green River. I love how clear the water is.
Wow---gorgeous place... I love the next to the last photo --with Daisy looking at her 'new friend'... She just wanted to play with the trout!!!!! ha ha Was it bitter bold there? Steve is covered from head to toe.... Daisy doesn't look cold though--even after being in that COLD water.Hugs,Betsy
That pleading look on Daisie's face said it all. Great post!
What a beautiful place, I love the colors of the water, blue from a distance and green close up. It does look cold, but Daisy doesn't seem to mind swimming in it!
I'm impressed by the early hatch as well as by Daisy Dog's attempt at fetching.
I love that boardwalk. Better than knocking about on the rocks. That was one big trout Steve and Daisy caught. Kudos for letting it go.
I've heard of bird retrieving dogs but never fish retrievers. Leave it to Daisy.
Have you read A River Runs Through It? It's all I know about fly fishing but what beautiful accounts of it! Daisy is so cute. My JRT would have been a hazard if I'd tried fishing with her. She did have basic obedience training but if there was anything like fetch involved, well, her enthusiasm knew no bounds. She loved to swim, too, but she was no lab. With all her muscles she didn't float at all and always took on a lot of water. lol
Gorgeous fish! I could almost smell it cooking when you told me it was released. Lovely area.
Beautiful countryside...the lake looks so refreshing....I know Sophie would be in there in a flash.Ron
