Oh, Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds, and whose breath gives life to all the world, hear me! I am small and weak, I need your strength and wisdom.Let me walk in beauty, and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have made and my ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise so that I may understand the things you have taught my people.
American Indians have the coolest way of looking at things. I like this. Perfect picture choice to go along with it too. That is awesome that you guys got to see that herd of wild horses.
ReplyDeleteYou really did a great job mixing the pictures with the prayer. Very good thoughts, but then I love Native American spirituality as well. Very nice. We need a chief like Yellow Lark.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mountain Mama. If only Yellow Lark were here today.
