Our paint horse was always SO bad about doing this, until we put a single strand of electric wire around the top of our fencing. I haven't seen him do this in a LONG time now. Good thing too. He got one of his front feet entangled in some barb wire years ago from reaching over the fence - you would think that might have taught him a lesson, but noooooo. Hence we introduced them all to the electric wire. We often turn it off for days at a time, because they've become so accustomed to it, they don't know the difference!
Can the forage really be so much sweeter on the other side of the fence?
