Trusting

In camp, Daisy likes to hang out with the horses.
Perhaps she's a little too trusting sometimes?

  1. Those horses would never hurt Daisy. She thinks she's bigger. Very cute. Give 'em all a scratch.

  2. Delightful photos! Daisy knows she's safe with her companions, just as they know they're safe with her. That hoof is awfully close, though . . .

  3. Their friends. That's good. Now if I could figure out how to.... the dog and the cat that is.

  5. That first photo is wonderful, Janie - shows a real bond between animals. Maybe Daisy should be a little more cautious though...

  6. I am sure she would never be hurt on purpose. :)
Didn't she have an injury last year...was it involving one of the horses???

  7. I truly believe that we can LEARN from our animal friends. :)

  8. Daisy might be too comfortable for her own good.

  9. I think they've adapted to each other. We had a lab that liked to nip the horses hind hocks--you can imagine how that ended. Not well for the dog.

  10. That is a a very trusting position in that last pic especially. Guess she forgot about her little incident not so long ago!

  11. Dogs, I think, naturally trust all those in "their" pack. Not sure the horses always reciprocate, though! Yours do seem remarkably calm though--wasn't Daisy's misfortune from awhile ago an "accident"?

Have loved your pictures from the Canyonlands... Thank you so much for sharing.

We just got home from a trip to Amicalola Falls State Park in GA to celebrate G's birthday.. Had a great time despite the rain... That didn't stop us from seeing some beautiful waterfalls... ha

  15. Kind of scary! I bet she knows not to do that with other horses, though. She's a smart dog!

  17. I think Daisy knows what she's doing. She and the horses must understand each other.
