I'd love to help but I don't have anything to offer for the rides you mention.
We are interested in riding in the Swell and we've been looking at the maps and plotting to get there. I'd love to hear of your experiences on this trip if you have time to get back with me.
If you have questions about other rides, particularly those in the Uinta Basin where we ride the most, we'd be happy to try to help.Janiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06509431336916594990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5953120750947919339.post-40890642371225082812011-04-08T23:02:09.621-06:002011-04-08T23:02:09.621-06:00My huband, another couple, and I are planning a hor...My huband, another couple, and I are planning a horse riding trip in the San Rafael Swell in May and would appreciate any comments or advice as to the best areas. I like the area of Sinbad's Head and north of there and we were also thinking about riding in the Mexican Mountain area along the San Rafael River. Any advice? He supervised the buffalo herd down their for more than 30 years. He also introduced the Big Horn Sheep back into Canyonlands. That was his major work in the DWR. We usually go "eastering" on the Swell. It's generally cold and windy and occassionally snows. I was thinking that handy dandy head covering that Steve wore would work splendidly for a spring campout on the swell. The thing I love most about Utah, no matter where you go it's big country, and all so beautiful.kayerjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08479123027080062607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5953120750947919339.post-24541313628146305922011-03-01T08:55:23.422-07:002011-03-01T08:55:23.422-07:00The snow will allow those sore muscles to recover....The snow will allow those sore muscles to recover.
